After attending a community college, you are looking for a place where you—and your academic work—will be accepted. Where you will be challenged to meet high academic standards, but given the resources to help you achieve those standards. Where you can explore your interests and prepare for a career or graduate school.
Randolph College is all of these, and more.
Randolph provides the strengths of a private liberal arts education to students who started their college studies elsewhere. Community college students will find a supportive community where they can take leadership roles, build on their educational foundation, and discover possibilities they never imagined.
Any student who graduates from a Virginia community college with a transfer-oriented degree, at least a 2.7 GPA, completes College Composition I (ENG 111) with at least a B, and a minimum of 56 transferrable credits is guaranteed automatic admission into Randolph College. (Is this you? Contact us so we can congratulate you!)

If you are wondering what courses to take in your remaining semesters at your community college, Randolph’s transfer coordinator is happy to help you set up your community college class schedule and talk with you about your interests and how to make the most of your experience as you prepare for Randolph. You also can refer to our General Education Guide for Virginia Community College courses.
