A healthy body is an essential component to intellectual growth and academic success. Randolph students lead active lifestyles and play as hard as they work. Randolph supports them through healthy dining options, workout facilities, an active health and counseling center, sports and more.
Randolph student athletes excel both on the playing field and in the classroom! Our expanding athletics program offers NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports for women and men in basketball, soccer, lacrosse, tennis and cross country; and for women in softball and volleyball. WildCat fans on the 'Cat Crew turn out to cheer for all men's and women's teams.
The College’s exciting new field and track offers the best in all-weather playing surface, lighting, and spectator seating. The eight-lane all-weather track is suitable for competitive training as well as recreational jogging or walking. The all-weather playing field contains material created from recycled tires that is both state-of-the-art and eco-friendly. The complex serves student recreational and intramural activities as well as varsity sports.
The College’s nationally recognized Riding Program has its own nearly 100-acre facility just minutes from campus at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Program has won three ODAC championships since 2002. Both women and men may compete on the riding team, but the Riding Program provides instruction for the casual rider as well.
Students participate in a growing intramurals program, as well take part in the Social Sports Network - a Facebook-based group to organize pickup games, outdoor adventures, challenges and casual activities.
The new field and track complex now hosts athletic matches and practices, as well as provides a training facility for all students.
