Description:
Randolph College (established as Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1891), a selective liberal arts college in the central Virginia foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, invites applications for position of adjunct instructor for fall and spring semesters of 2014-2015 to teach one section of Stagecraft in each semester. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to undergraduate education in theatre in a liberal arts environment. M.F.A. preferred; minimum B.A. and two years’ professional experience required.

Description:
Randolph College seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve our students during the academic year. Responsibilities include health care, health education, and health counseling services; assisting the Director of the Health Center, as needed, in planning, directing and coordinating the health promotion for the College, and assisting the Director of Health Center in managing daily operations of the Health Center. Work schedule will be 3 days per week during the academic year. Qualifications include: Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited school of nursing (Masters Degree preferred), current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing and Medicine as a nurse practitioner with authorization to prescribe, certification as a nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certification organizations, also experience in primary care, health education and administration, or Certified Physician Assistant Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Medicine to practice as a Physician Assistant.

Network Administrator

Description:
As a member of the Information Technology team, the Network Administrator will maintain the College’s administrative and academic network infrastructure and equipment, including network security and integrity, virus protection, data backups, and email system. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years hands-on experience supporting users on a LAN, experience in multiple client and server operating systems, experience designing and implementing a LAN, experience with Microsoft server products (Server 2008, SQL server, Exchange 2010), experience with Backup Exec, and must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. A bachelor’s degree and Cisco, or other network-related certifications, preferred. Occasional evening and weekend work is required. Position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

Riding Assistant, Instructor, and Lynchburg College Coach

Randolph College has an immediate full-time, program assistant position at the Riding Center. Position provides assistance to the Director of Riding with barn operations and instruction of classes. The assistant will also serve as the IHSA Head Coach for Lynchburg College. Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 3 years experience teaching group or private lessons for beginner, intermediate and collegiate level riders, a working knowledge of modern theories of riding and training and a thorough knowledge of stable management, including show horses. Description:
Randolph College (established as Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 1891), a selective liberal arts college in the central Virginia foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, invites applications for the part-time staff position of technical director beginning mid-August. Experience in sound a plus. Responsible for mounting four productions: adhering to production schedules and budgets; organization and maintenance of scene shop, production and storage areas and equipment; developing working drawings from design drawings, and scenery construction and coordination of technical production in Thoresen Theatre, a 250 seat proscenium house (for two shows), the Lab Theatre, a 60 seat black box space (for one show); and the Whiteside Greek Theatre, a 1000 seat outdoor space (for one show). In addition to training and supervising student shop assistants and production crews, this person supervises students in production labs and assigned shop hours, and mentors students in Technical Production. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to undergraduate education in theatre in a liberal arts environment, be affable, skillful, and work positively under pressure. M.F.A. preferred; minimum B.A. and two years’ experience required.
