Student Outcomes

Today, both employers and graduate schools expect students to have career-related experience. Class of 2012 graduates gained valuable experience through internships (53%), research (15.6%), volunteer service (60.2%), study abroad for a semester or academic year (18.1%), and employment during the summer (59%).

Of the seniors who participated in our annual survey, 65.8% are either actively seeking employment or have already obtained a job, 25.6% are either attending or preparing for graduate/professional school, and 9% are pursuing other endeavors. These statistics include some survey participants who were actively seeking employment as well as preparing for graduate school simultaneously.
